ROAD FRUSTRATION ENDS FOR BULLDOGS

    Four Bulldogs scored in double figures as Fresno State earned its first conference victory on the road in their 61-52 victory over Hawai'i on Saturday night on the island.
 
    Mike Ladd led the Bulldogs with 18 points. Ladd also made all of his free throws and went 4-for-8 from the three-point line. Greg Smith finished with 16 points for the night and also recorded six rebounds.
 
    Senior Sylvester Seay dropped 13 points and led the team with seven rebounds. Steven Shepp led the Bulldogs offense with seven assists and had 11 points for the 12-12 Bulldogs.
 
    The victory also evens the Bulldogs' Western Athletic Conference at 5-5. Hawai'i drops to 9-14 overall and 2-8 in WAC play.
 
    Fresno State returns to the Save Mart Center on Feb. 11 when they take on New Mexico State. The tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
